Get out your cameras travelers. The Tours4Fun “Best of Summer” Travel Photo Contest has officially begun and the competition will definitely be fierce this year. The submission period began on August 1st and voting will start September 1st. Only photos of landscapes will be accepted, so break out those digital cameras and catch that breathtaking shot of a sunset on the water or a panoramic view from a mountain top. Make your entry an original though, copies or manipulated images will be rejected.

We have prizes, prizes and more prizes to give away for this years best travel photo. You can win a Niagara shopping tour, Grand Canyon helicopter or airplane tour, or Washington DC tour. Think about it. You can enter a photo that you took on your last vacation and go on your next vacation for free. How cool is that? With the economy being what it is today everyone can use a break and this is your chance to enjoy one of the great North American tourist attractions without paying a dime.

Once voting is complete at the end of September the winner will be announced sometime in October. Tours4Fun is expecting to see some great shots of both favorite and remote travel locations which we will be happy to post for your viewing pleasure. Even if you’re not participating in the contest be sure to log in and vote. You need to register your email address and then you’ll be allotted three votes for that email.
