Nestled in between Argentina and Brazil in South America, lies the very intriguing country of Uruguay. Perhaps this small South American nation is a little less well-known than some of its counterparts, but Uruguay has a variety of natural wonders and cultural jewels to be admired and appreciated by tourists.

India is a country with a vast variety of attractions to visit and wonders of the world to enjoy, however I would like to focus on the very beautiful seaside state of Kerala because it is a little less well-known to most North American travelers.

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
 
Ottawa offers its visitors many exciting activities to partake in, and is Canada’s capital city, even though it has a much smaller population than other well-known Canadian cities such as Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver. Ottawa is a very beautiful city, and you will hear the sounds of both Canada’s official languages ( French and English) everywhere you go.

Russia and houses some of the most beautiful sculptures and rare paintings I have ever seen. The museum itself is huge and it has various wings with unique themes and designs. An avid museum goer could spend a week admiring the works of art found in this museum!  Its colourful design grabs your attention and its contents keep you coming back for more!

The Valley of the Kings, located on the West Bank near Luxor, is one of the most fascinating and intriguing parts of Egypt. The Valley of the Kings, is home to the Tombs of the Egyptian Pharaohs, the Egyptian belief that "To speak the name of the dead is to make him live again" is certainly carried out in the building of the tombs. The king’s formal names and titles are inscribed in his tomb along with his images and statues.

Victoria, British Columbia

Victoria, the capital of British Columbia and offers visitors and locals an endless array of fun activities both indoor and outdoor. Victoria is also the Canadian city which has the mildest winters, often with no snow to speak of, which entices Canadians and people from other nationalities to visit the city even during the winter months.

Buenos Aires, Argentina

To many locals, Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, is known as the most “European” of all the capital cities in South America. This is because of the many squares, churches and cobblestone streets which make up this exciting city, but also due to the many European families who migrated here in the early 1900’s from European countries such as Spain, France, Italy and Germany.

Managua, Nicaragua

Managua, the capital of Nicaragua, located in Central America, is a vibrant city which offers many exciting activities for tourists and locals alike to partake in. Managua offers vibrant nightlife, coupled with many theater performances, and live music which plays in the local bars or sometimes on the streets.

You wake up and look outside, it’s another cold, dreary, snowy day. You know that the ice on your car will have to be scrapped off and the snow removed from your driveway in order to start the day.
