For a quite some time, Tours4Fun’s Travel Companion has presented users with an opportunity to find someone with whom to travel with. Whether or not you’re planning to take a tour of Yellowstone or a Europe tour, our Travel Companion section has always been available for anyone to view others just like them to share a tour with. And in short time, our Travel Companion will become much more.

Soon, visitors to our site will be able to not only browse through people looking for travel companions, but also be able to view entire profiles of the posters. Our new Travel Companion profiles will feature information about the person posting such as their ideal travel companion, places they’ve visited, places they’d like to visit, a blog, their travel status and more. In addition, each user will also be able to post pictures and/or videos of themselves for others to view. And if that’s not all, if you show us that the media you’ve posted is from one of our tours, you can associate it with that tour you’ve taken and earn Tours4Fun Rewards4Fun points to use towards the booking of a future tour with us.

And that’s not all — if you have signed- or logged-in, you’ll be able to add other Travel Companions as a friend and be able to open up communications with that person by sending him or her an e-mail or instant message to ask anything you want to ask. So you’ll be able to converse directly with the poster by way of their profile. And of course, you can expect this same interaction by way of your profile were you’ll be able to get your message across to anyone reading your profile, upload pictures, etc.

As you can see, when our new Travel Companion section is complete, it will unveil a whole new way to go about discussing travel and perhaps even traveling with people from all over the world!
