Another great town to visit is called Puerto Varas, which is very picturesque. It is located on the shores of Lake Llanquihue and offers the amazing Osorno Volcanoes as a fantastic backdrop. These volcanoes, with their snow-capped peaks, are indeed a gorgeous sight not to be missed! Explore the nearby Chiloe Island and don’t miss the beautiful waterfalls of Pertrohue. 

Chile also offers nature lovers a variety of Natural Reserves and Parks, which are very well kept and preserved for future generations. Surround yourself with rivers and nature trails when you visit the Huerquehue National Park, which is located in the town of Pucón.  On the southeast side of the lake, you will find the popular tourist hub of the        “ lake district”. Take pictures on the black sand beaches and stare up at the towering Villarica Volcano, which sits at 2840 meters above sea level.
