Year after year thousands travel to Vegas for their New Year’s celebration, when the city shuts down a portion of the Strip in a tradition known as “America’s Party.”  The show includes a spectacular firework display that shoot off the roofs of world class hotels including the MGM Grand, Aria, Planet Hollywood, Caesars Palace, Treasure Island, The Venetian, and The Stratosphere, creating a cascade of gorgeous color and light in the city sky.  Live entertainment is also provided via the cover bands that help ring in the New Year.  Almost all of the hotels on the Vegas Strip will host their own New Year’s celebrations, with travel packages that include elegant dinners, show tickets, and nightclub invitations.
