The ruins located in Coba should be next on your trip through the Yucatan. Coba was also a part of the Mayan Empire and is located approximately 45 minutes from Tulum.  Most of this ancient city was built between the years 500 and 900 and many of its temples and pyramids are still visible today. The most popular is the Pyramid of Nohoch Mul, which is 42 meters high!  Today the ruins are one of the main tourist attractions in the area and is a significant part of Mexico’s fascinating past.
