Hiking with silverback gorillas in Uganda, snorkeling with whale sharks in Mozambique, climbing The Great Wall of China, dog-sledding in Greenland, camel trekking in Jordan, sleeping with lions in the Serengeti, trying out a wide variety of exotic local delicacies that surpass all the extents of your imagination; Julia is a hard-core travel junkie who wants to keep her travel spirit alive by discovering many more destinations.

Julia makes valuable contribution to the travel industry by extending her love for travel to other areas like hosting travel shows and working with leading travel search engines like Kayak.com as their spokesperson and “chief travel junkie.” She is co-creator and co-host of Word Travels, a 39-episode TV series broadcast nationally on OLN in Canada and internationally on National Geographic Adventure in over 40 countries worldwide. She is also the host of an online travel series called ‘Destination Getaway’ for MSNBC and the co-host (along with Survivor winner Ethan Zohn) of the new outdoor adventure lifestyle show, Outside Today.
