No matter where you live in the country, Spring Break is a great opportunity to take a trip to somewhere you’ve probably heard all of your friends and family talk about – Las Vegas. A tour of Las Vegas will include some gambling and some nightlife for people over the age of 21, but Vegas has also become a hotspot for people under 21, too.
It just so happens that Vegas is a great place to go see a variety of shows that allow visitors of all ages to attend, though some do require you to be at least 18 to attend. There are also a plethora of rides that people of all ages can enjoy, including The Roller Coaster at New York-New York and The Big Shot at the Stratosphere, which to this day, is still the most thrilling ride I’ve ever been on. Something about starting off at more than 1,100 feet and then rocketing upwards with very little warning that somehow got my adrenaline pumping. And interestingly enough, I happened to ride this ride when I was 19 years old.
If you’re under 21, there’s also car racing at the Pole Position Raceway and more that are loads of fun if you want to take a trip to Las Vegas but you’re a little too young to gamble. Las Vegas also happens to be close enough to other great attractions to make it a great place to start your trip. Take a tour of the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas or if you have some time to spare, make sure to schedule a trip to Los Angeles as part of your Vegas trip, too. As you can see, a trip to Las Vegas for Spring Break is a great way to have a little fun and get away from it all for this Spring Break.
