Tours4Fun was delighted to connect with Niclas, an enthusiastic traveler from Denmark who writes for a travel magazine. Niclas visited some of the most beautiful destinations of North America by journeying with us on our 3-Day Niagara Falls Toronto & Thousand Islands Bus Tour.

Here is a short and sweet description of Niclas’ interesting traveling experiences in his own words.  

“I recently had a memorable travel experience with Tours4Fun to beautiful destinations in North America. The main purpose of my travel was to write for a travel magazine about my travel experiences.

I was also keen to do an online video blog of my expeditions. I was accompanied by a female colleague who is also a good friend on a terrific 3-Day Niagara Falls, Toronto, and Thousand Islands Tour arranged by Tours4Fun.

We started our journey with the charming city of New York, and the southern parts of United States.  After experiencing the southern culture and the exotic Caribbean Islands, we were excited to explore a contrasting but equally alluring beauty that exists in the northern parts of United States.

We boarded the Tours4Fun bus in New York to find a large population of tourists from different countries belonging to the Asian continent. A lady from Germany with her two daughters, and me and my friend were the only ones to add diversity to the ethnicity of our tour group. We were not surprised by the domination of Asian travelers on our tour, because while booking our tour, we were informed that our traveling companions will largely hail from Asian countries. Even though initially our travel mates took some time to open up, as the journey progressed we struck some interesting conversations with a few and made some good friends.

It was evening by the time we reached Ontario to view the stunning Niagara Falls. We enjoyed a magnificent view of the falls illuminated with colored lights from the Skylon Tower. We had to wake up early next morning to experience the Maid of the Mist tour for an up-close encounter with the breathtaking falls. I was awestruck by its beauty. I hope that someday I will share the mesmerizing effect of the falls discerned on this boat tour, with that special someone.  

After the memorable Maid of the Mist experience, we arrived in Toronto early afternoon. Some of our travel mates went on another boat tour in Toronto, but we decided to take it easy and soak in the culture by taking a stroll in downtown with a hot chocolate from Starbucks. Then we visited the impressive CN Tower and went right till the top. Even though my friend suffers from vertigo, experiencing a spectacular view of the city from such a great height was too hard to resist. The feeling being at the top of the CN Tower is simply indescribable! While enjoying the view from the tower, we also got to sample two authentic Canadian beers, one of which was brewed in the roundhouse located right below the tower. After the thrilling experience at CN Towers we had lunch at a sushi restaurant and boarded our bus which took us to the Ontario Parliament Building.
 

On the final day of our tour we departed from Toronto to approach the Thousand Islands Region.
We sailed across the St. Lawrence Waterway between United States and Canada on a charming boat. The pleasant weather made the boat ride more enjoyable. We stopped for lunch on our way back to New York City and ended our amazing tour by arriving at Manhattan.

To sum it up, we had an incredible trip which was great value for money. The hotels where we stayed in were nice and clean. Our guide and our bus driver were very helpful and friendly. Our eating halts always had a lot of options for various cuisines which were good as well as reasonable.

The best part of the tour was that I got an opportunity to make new friends. I am still in touch with my travel companions from U.S., China, Singapore, and Germany. It was indeed a journey to remember!
