Film fanatics will travel to Lake Arrowhead from April 22 to April 25 for the 11th Annual Lake Arrowhead Film Festival.  The event will kick off with a presentation called the “Journey of a Filmmaker: From Film School to the Biz,” where those looking to get into the movie industry will have a chance to mingle with film professionals as they share their insights and experiences on working in the business.  After a meet and greet event, guests will be delighted with the introduction of the film “La Mission,” which depicts the life of a Latino family in the San Francisco area.  Friday night’s dinner will include a tribute to Hollywood royalty, including directors, writers, and producers.  The big finale will be the awards ceremony on Sunday, as the festival will honor distinguished figures in the film industry.  The Lake Arrowhead Film Festival is relatively small compared to other festivals, which is exactly what the aim of festival promoters.  The festival prides itself on its ability to offer a more intimate experience for its guests, which in turn allow the focus to be on the actual stars of the festival, the films themselves.  This year the festival plans to screen 88 total films which range in the drama, comedy, horror and documentary genres.  The festival is a truly pleasant experience with the beauty of Lake Arrowhead, unique films, and the presence great company all in one room.  Travel to Lake Arrowhead this month and make sure to check out the Lake Arrowhead Film Festival!  And don’t forget to join our Lake Arrowhead tour that includes a cruise of the lake!
