Fans of The Smashing Pumpkins will be excited to hear that their favorite band will be headlining the Third Annual Sunset Strip Music Festival in West Hollywood from August 26-28.  The infamous Sunset Strip will be transformed into a hotspot for performances by accompanying acts including Slash, Common, Semi Precious Weapons, Neon Trees, Big B, and Steel Panther.  The Strip’s many illustrious night clubs and lounges such as Whisky-a-Go-Go, The Roxy, Key Club, Viper Room, Cat Club, and the House of Blues will all play host to the performances during this three-day celebration. 

Saturday’s festivities will entertain audiences with outdoor stages lining Sunset Boulevard between Doheny Drive and San Vicente Boulevard.  Beer gardens, a VIP lounge, and food trucks will all cater to fans throughout the day.   Tickets for the event are available $49.50 presale, and $65 at the box office. 

Just like Rodeo Drive, Hollywood Boulevard, and Melrose Avenue, Sunset Boulevard is a must-see on any tour of Los Angeles.  This notorious street borders downtown Hollywood and Beverly Hills, giving you a glimpse of the drastic, yet interesting dichotomy between the two neighborhoods.  Lined with famous hotels, restaurants, and nightclubs, Sunset Boulevard is a playground for the rich and famous, as well as for those on a trip to Los Angeles.
