Reuters just released their travel picks for the Top 10 Places to Celebrate Halloween. While Salem, Massachusetts takes the number one spot for being the most haunted town in the United States, New York isn’t far behind at position five thanks to their famous Nightmare Haunted House. Located in the trendy NoHo district, this terrifying attraction takes place in an insane asylum, and is decorated with frightening details and filled with terrifying characters as they attempt to escape the facility. Reuters also voted for a trip to New York during Halloween weekend thanks to their Village Halloween Parade, where thousands gather donned in their costumes for a celebration with live music,and dancing.
But with Halloween quickly approaching, this only means another holiday is almost here: New Year’s Eve.
