Before embarking on the drive into the Rockies, many tours leave from the port city of Vancouver, therefore a trip to the world-renowned park Stanley Park is in order. It is not only the largest city park in Canada; it boasts 1000 acres of forest, lakes and meadows. Enjoy a stroll through this beautiful park. Throughout your journey through Stanley Park, you will see many totem poles, which are a signature of the First Nations, aboriginal people who first settled this land. Many of the descendents still practise their traditions and history, which enrich Canadian life.

Get your cameras out for this one because it’s hard to believe!

Vancouver Island’s beaches, from English Bay to Sunset beach are a great place to go for a walk and to relax. Many activities are available such as swimming, sun tanning or cycling.
