While at the Grand Canyon, do not miss Skywalk. Skywalk tours are one of the most popular of all the Grand Canyon tour. Since it opened in March 2007, Skywalk has attracted over 1 million visitors. The structure sits 4,000 feet above the canyon floor and offers incredible views in all directions. The glass floor of Skywalk gives visitors an unforgettable view of the Grand Canyon as well as the Colorado River which runs below. No cameras are allowed on Skywalk but post cards are readily available to purchase as well as a variety of souvenirs. Skywalk Tours – A wide variety of Skywalk tours are available. Many of these tours depart directly from several main Las Vegas casinos. These tours are perfect for those who want the convenience of being picked up and dropped off right in front of their hotel. There are many other tours with departures from Los Angeles or San Francisco. As with most of the Grand Canyon tours, these tours sell out well in advance so make sure you plan your package early.
