Arches National Park: Utah’s Hidden Treasure

Among the many national parks throughout the United States, Arches National Park is probably one that remains a mystery to most.  The park is lined with thousands of mesmerizing sandstone formations, making it an astounding landscape for travelers to marvel at.  Millions of years of geological history have resulted in a land painted with strikingly rich color, with unique textures and natural construction unlike any other national park.  Located in eastern Utah, the park is famous for preserving over 2000 natural sandstone arches, and is home to the world famous Delicate Arch.  The iconic arch is used as Utah’s state symbol, often appearing on state license plates, and has been captured for numerous magazine covers and computer images.  The Delicate Arch is also a great destination for a family hike.  Treking to this astonishing landmark is the only way to really appreciate the arch in all its entirety and beauty, as you marvel from a mile away.
