The fantastically beautiful country of Tanzania is the largest in the East African region. It is full of mystery and wonder, exotic animals and gorgeous natural beauty.

For beach lovers, head to the Zanzibar islands, where you will come face to face with their white, palm-fringed beaches and coral reefs which are a divers delight! One of the most beautiful beaches here is called Nungwi Beach, and it’s a place that can definitely take you away from reality and put you in a peaceful state of mind. Go for a swim in the clear blue water or relax on the beach and get a tan. The scenery here is out of this world!

Just off the coast of Tanzania and in the Zanzibar channel, you can find the tropical island of Lazy Lagoon. This island encompasses nine kilometers of deserted, white sandy beaches and a lush forest, which provides a home to many small mammals of all kinds. It is the perfect getaway for rest and relaxation!

In the city of Arusha, make sure to do some shopping here at the local markets, the locals love to mix and mingle with foreigners and here you can find traditional African arts and crafts such as African masks and handmade jewelry. Visiting Arusha is also a great way for you to see how everyday Tanzanians live.

A trip to Tanzania would not be complete without scaling the smooth slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, one of the most famous mountains in all of Africa. Visit the National Park with the same name which includes a forest and game reserve.
