Niagara Falls is getting into the Halloween spirit for all its visitors this weekend; as its popular districts Clifton Hill, Fallsview Boulevard, and Lundy’s Lane will be hosting special events and attractions. While a bus tour to Niagara Falls is already a great choice for a family vacation, the Falls will prove to be especially kid-friendly this weekend as the Clifton Hill district will set up haunted houses, mystery mazes, and other exciting attractions for those in the area. One of the most popular destinations this weekend will be the Nightmares Fear Factory, which is the oldest running haunted house in our country. The building is built on what was formerly a coffin factory, where its murdered owner is rumored to occasionally lurk the premises. While this is probably the Falls’ most celebrated attraction during
Halloween, there are plenty of other options for those who fear the ghost of the old coffin factory.
For a far less frightening event, the Dave and Busters at Clifton Hill will be hosting a Much Music Video Dance Halloween bash, complete with big screens and costume contests. Also, those on a Niagara Falls tour should visit the Lundy’s Lane district to participate in their Evening Haunted Forest Walks, located in Heartland Forest. If you would rather explore what Niagara Falls’ nightlife has to offer, visit the Fallsview Casino, which is currently showing Dancing Queen at the Avalon Theatre, where you can also try your hand at its many gambling tables. There are several other sites that are great for those on a family vacation as they will include costume parades, haunted trails, and family activities.
If you’ve always considered taking a trip to Niagara Falls, why not make it out for Halloween weekend so you and your family can take part in the exciting festivities!
