Experience LA Restaurant Week On Your Next Trip To Los Angeles

It’s that time again!  Los Angeles Restaurant Week is set to return from October 3-8 and October 10-15.  Those with a passion for epicurean delights await this event which showcases the best that Los Angeles eateries have to offer.  For those unfamiliar with Restaurant Week, it is essentially a gathering of the city’s finest restaurants, both old and new, as they bring you a unique chef-designed prix fixe menu at a price much more affordable than usual.  The list of restaurants seems to expand year after year, as eateries of all cuisines and price ranges rush to participate in this culinary event.  This year’s choices feature LA hotspots such as Katsuya, Mr. Chows, and Spago, as well as those new to the culinary scene, including SBE’s newest venture, Cleo.   Most restaurants will offer both lunch and dinner options complete with a three-course meal for you to choose from.  With prices ranging from $16- $28 per person for lunch courses, and $26-$44 for dinner options, this is a great opportunity to finally visit that new restaurant you’ve always wanted to try.  For instance, many of you have probably heard about The Bazaar by Jose Andres, located in the ritzy SLS Hotel.  The tapas restaurant has been praised by numerous food bloggers, culinary magazines, and even The Food Network as being one of the best new restaurants in Los Angeles.  However, this dining experience usually comes with a hefty price, as a meal there can run you about $150 a person.  Fortunately many pricey restaurants like The Bazaar will be participating in LA’s Restaurant Week, where they will be offering a full meal for $44.
