Travel movies are a great way to help you choose your vacation destination. In the past twenty years there have been some really great (and not so great) films made that feature panoramic views of popular vacation destinations. The following is a short list of some of the better travel films you can rent and enjoy from home.
Everyone loves a vacation but no one wants to spend a lot of money on one. That’s okay. You work hard for what you have and blowing it all on a few days off in July and August seems silly. You can enjoy a summer vacation and still go home with a few dollars in your pocket if you follow the following five suggestions:
A lot of people take Yellowstone tours just to see the sights like Old Faithful, Grand Teton and Mt. Rushmore. But there are many others reasons to go to Yellowstone – one of which is to get a taste of the Native American Indian culture. They keep it alive in the Yellowstone, and they want to share it with you.
Have you ever seen a pow wow? Some of the pow wows in Yellowstone attract members from tribes all across the country. You can watch their unique forms of traditional and fancy dancing, drumming and singing – and in the intertribal dances, everyone can participate, including you!
If you’re going on one of our Yellowstone tours, be sure to visit Mammoth Hot Springs. Unlike many other hot springs locations in the U.S., Mammoth is a site you absolutely don’t want to miss!
The main attractions at Mammoth are the terraces. They’ve been there for thousands of years but, like glaciers, they’re constantly changing. They consist of Travertine – formed by a combination of heat, water, limestone and joints or veins in rock – which is constantly being created to form new shapes that force the water to go in different directions.
As a bit of an outdoorsman, one of my absolute favorite places to visit on a tour is Yellowstone National Park. The park itself extends in to portions of Idaho, Montana and Wyoming, and is the first national park to have been established in the United States.
In addition to hundreds of types of wildlife and a huge variety of plantlife, Yellowstone is also home to one of the largest active volcanos in North America! One quick look at all of the geysers and hot springs found in the area is a clear indication of the active nature of the Yellowstone National Park. Millions have the adventure of a lifetime each year on Yellowstone Tours, and there are an almost endless number of sites to see.
Yellowstone National Park Tours — more than a vacation..it’s an adventure! The sights, sounds and scenes of Yellowstone National Park are like nothing else you’ve ever experienced. This wild, untamed landmark has attracted as much as one-third of the US Population to enjoy its rugged beauty and continues to attract more than 3 million visitors each year. Tours4Fun is proud to be able to host the most exciting and extensive Yellowstone tours currently available anywhere.
